Vitamin D can help!

If you live somewhere up north where you don't get lots of sun, there's a pretty good chance that you've got a degree of deficiency of vitamin D. Quite a few people have found that vitamin D supplements have helped or even cured their heartburn. It can help if you suffer from SAD (seasonal affective disorder) too.

If you think this might be you then it's probably worth getting it checked out, it really could be that simple. For more great ideas to help treat your heartburn, check out this site.

Hot tea and cancer!

I've just stumbled across something very interesting, apparently there's studies that have shown a link between hot drinks and stomach cancer! I think these drinks must be pretty bloody hot but that's not something that would have ever occurred to me.

Now, that's not really going to do much for your heartburn is it? A really simple little trick is to just make sure that you don't lie down for at least 2-3 hrs after you eat. Pretty simple I know but this alone had helped just so many people. Give your stomach a chance to digest the food before bed and you'll be pretty stoked that you did.
